Three members of the Secretariat participated in a conference organized by the European Commission and INTERACT together in Bratislava. The topic was Demonstrating the Benefits of European Territorial Cooperation. The aim of the event was to discuss recent initiatives as well as taking a closer look at monitoring, evaluation and communication in order to provide answers jointly to some of the most pressing questions facing European Territorial Cooperation at this time. We listened to some presentations about the given topics and had the chance to develop our ideas in workshops moderated by INTERACT members. The participants arrived from all over Europe representing almost all of the Territorial Cooperation programmes. This way the sharing of experience had the widest scale possible ensuring that all programmes could demonstrate the important aspects of their programme in the given matters.
