The programme area

The programme area consists of the following NUTS III territorial units in the Hungarian-Slovakian border region covering 61 509 km2 and a population of 8 740 110:

As the entire area of all the territorial units listed above are considered as eligible for the implementation of projects under the Hungary – Slovakia CBC Operational Programme. Supported projects are required to be implemented within this eligible area, i.e. all of the activities financed under the programme have to carry out their (positive) impact on the eligible area.
